Tim Philipps Tim Phillipps

Tim is the Global Leader for Deloitte Analytics, based in Singapore, focused on applying deep industry expertise, advanced analytics capabilities and the understanding of decision-makers' roles to turn everyday information into useful and actionable insights. He has established the Deloitte Analytics Institute |Asia – a global research center based in Singapore that focuses on improving the application of analytics methodology for business.

Tim is also Deloitte's Global Forensic Leader - where he developed market-leading forensic, electronic discovery and analytics capabilities in support of fraud and corruption investigations, money laundering compliance, sanctions compliance and complex litigation. Tim has 30 years of law enforcement, regulatory and AML/Sanctions compliance experience and prior to joining Deloitte had held senior enforcement roles with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.

Dr Tan Lin Tze

Dr Lin Tze Tan leads the Solutions & Innovation Unit's City Logistics initiative in Singapore. She is the originator of DHL's innovative ISOS platform which has Business Analytics and collaborative logistics at its core and leads the development of this globally. She has also been spearheading industry-academia consortia for research and development into tools and solutions for optimizing logistics flows.

Prior to DHL, she spent more than a decade in R&D Consultancy and academia. She holds a PhD in Engineering from Cambridge University and has sat on various engineering and scientific technical panels.

Dheeraj Motwani

Dheeraj is an Industry Analyst at Google covering the Travel industry in Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for leading Google's strategic analyses and research projects for the Travel sector. His market insights help clients identify opportunities and execute solution-based ideas to grow their business. A social media evangelist, he also works with the Google+ team to drive the project's adoption in Asia Pacific. Prior to Google, Dheeraj worked as an Economist at a consulting firm in New York City. He has a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Mumbai University, a Master's in Information Economics from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore. In his spare time, Dheeraj enjoys traveling, good food, and sports.

Mike Sherman Mike Sherman

Mike Sherman is the Head of the Center of Excellence for Customer Knowledge and Business Intelligence at SingTel. He leads SingTel group's efforts to identify how to better leverage SingTel's data to serve customers and drive revenues and profits. Mike began his career at Procter & Gamble where he managed both new and established brands. Mike also spent 17 years with McKinsey & Company doing marketing consulting, based in New York and Hong Kong. While based in Hong Kong he founded and lead their Asia-Pacific Marketing practice. Mike was also Global Head of Knowledge Management for Synovate (now Ipsos, a global market research firm), where he lead efforts to improve the value clients obtain from research. Mike has spoken at many conferences and published several times in the McKinsey Quarterly on marketing issues in developing and Asian markets.

Brendan is co-founder and CEO of ThinkSmart Technologies, based in Ireland and Silicon Valley, who are the world's first cloud based service to provide advanced customer movement analytics using data from existing wifi infrastructure and smartphones (with no hardware, sensors, tags or apps on the phone). With ThinkSmart's pioneering SaaS solutions retailers & large venues can now precisely understand the movement of their customers during their complete journey within their premises allowing them to maximize their revenues by delivering improved business outcomes such as improved product-placement, increased rental revenues, optimized customer flow, and targeted promotion management among others.

Brendan splits his time between San Francisco and Ireland and is focussed on pushing the traditional boundaries around location intelligence and analytics, enabling the smart enterprise dynamically interact with their customers.

Prior to founding ThinkSmart, Brendan worked with Accenture and IBM, has a BSc from Trinity College, and an MSc & Phd from University College Dublin.
